For the last two weeks Maddy has been the one in control at our house, and she will let Mommy and Daddy know if they are getting in her way! I'm not sure if we're hitting the peak of the terrible two's or if she's just feeling moody lately. Either way she has been rather touchy, and we've discovered she can produce quite a loud, high scream when she wants to. The other night we were having dinner at Grandma and Grandpa Starr's house and Maddy decided she needed to have Grandma's chocolate chip cookie dessert and she needed it NOW! We kept telling her "no" because it wasn't time for dessert yet, but she kept insisting that yes it was time for dessert. After about half an hour of all-out "bloody-murder" screams and plenty of time-outs, she got her way and finally had dessert! She kept saying "YUMMY" over and over again! :) When we took this picture of her, I couldn't help but thinking of a little princess high on her throne having it HER way!
