Last Friday night Maddy and I went with my grandparents and aunt to watch my cousin play in his homecoming football game. This was Madelyn's first football game (since she was a little baby) and she took it all in!
She took her little "ribbit" or (frog) chair with her and set it right up beside my grandma, sat down and started eating her apples and snacks. She would cheer when the crowd cheered, laugh when we laughed and just enjoyed being a big girl.
The high school band was sitting right beside us and I was worried it might be too loud for her. But as soon as they started playing, her eyes were fixed on the symbol and drum players and she loved it! She clapped and danced right along with the music.
We had to leave early because it was Maddy's bedtime, but it was a great game to watch. The Vikings won 25-15. Yea!
