Dear Children,
You are so lucky to know so many of your grandparents here on earth. Each one has so many strengths and a legacy to leave to you. It is very important to know of your heritage, to learn about the people who came before you. Your Grandma and Grandpa Starr have many strengths that you can learn from, but after their last few visits I want you to know of one in particular: their hard work ethic.
As soon as they came through the door of our house, they put themselves to work - holding and loving you, feeding you, changing you, washing dishes, laundry, running errands, putting you to bed and so on. Whatever needed done, they were there to do it - from dawn until dusk. And they never stopped until they left.
Their service to us showed how much they care and love our family. They are invested in you and want you to know their love through all of the time and work they put into helping you.
Don't ever forget how important it is to serve one another, to lift one another's burdens, and to show your love in doing so. This is what our Savior would have us do as well, and while on this earth, He wants us to help others along our way. Your Grandma and Grandpa Starr are such great examples of this and I pray that as you grow older you might honor them by doing the same.
