Lately, Madelyn is all about putting on shoes, or "ews," as she calls them. She enjoys the process of putting them on, admiring them, and then taking them off. And, not just one pair in particular, but all kinds of shoes: big ones, little ones, pink ones, blue ones, shoes for walking, shoes for lounging, etc. She loves putting on Daddy's tennis shoes when we're going to go for a walk, and Mommy's sandals when she just wants to dance. But, the other day was a new one: She wanted to put on Mommy's pink high heels to go for a run on the treadmill! It was pretty amusing for Mommy to watch her determination to do it too! She's just a girly girl at heart.
