We had a wonderful Mother's Day down in Emporia with both families. Jonathan was so sweet and thoughtful in making a delicious, gourmet meal for me, my mom, and grandmothers. We had salmon with an avocado and tomato relish, lemon spaghetti, a delicious chicken salad, fruit salad, and for dessert: a chocolate pie with a peanut-chocolate crust, ganache, peanut butter layer and topped with chocolate mousse. It was heavenly and we felt very loved and very full! Later we had a great time with Jonathan's family and in honoring his mother as well. Maddy enjoyed playing with cousins Leia and Aurora and aunts and uncles. It was just fun to be with one another and celebrate all of the wonderful mommies!
