Madelyn has recently discovered the joy in hosting little "tea" parties with her animal friends and mommy and daddy. In fact, she has even hosted a tea party for our home teachers and was a very polite and proper hostess, always making sure their cups were full. She loves the Disney princess tea set that Grandma Starr gave her for Christmas, especially The Little Mermaid plates. The other day she gathered almost all of her animals together and made sure they looked their very best by putting hairbands, etc. in their "hair." Then, she arranged them all in a circle and gave them each two plates and a cup. She pretended to eat cookies and laugh with them while giving them plenty to drink, gulping down quite a bit herself. :) She even gave them all a kiss good-bye when the party was over.
