- Having my mom make breakfast every morning AND cleaning up! She made yummy oatmeal with soy milk, pure maple syrup and fresh berries. Mmmm, I miss it. And fresh apple, carrot ginger juice-Maddy's favorite. (However, it gave her the "super tupes" as she calls them and for some reason I was always sitting directly downwind from her.)
- Watching Evan bond with his grandparents and aunt. Lots of smiling, lots of giggling, lots of cute tongue-sticking-outness.

- Thanksgiving Dinner and so many blessings my heart could burst. We cooked for 2 days off and on. And thank you to my wonderful husband who made 3 scrumptious pies! Bless you, bless you, bless you! It was so fun and the meal was delicious.
The cooks (+ Kayla and Jonathan)
- Having my handy Dad around and hearing the nails and saw going in our basement. Maddy's playroom is now framed! Every morning Maddy would say, "Papa, go build my playroom!" Don't you love handy Dads? :)
- Watching funny and heart-felt movies.
- Feeding Evan his first rice cereal...and watching him gobble it up!
- Talking.
- Opening Christmas Presents early!
- Watching Madelyn play in her own little world, with her little imaginary friend, Maya. (Pronounced Mae/a)
- Going to see the lights at Temple Square and having yummy hot chocolate at the Nauvoo Cafe.
Let's do it again sometime, okay everyone?

The best part of the holidays is spending so much time with family and then it becomes the hardest part when they all leave and the routine returns. It has been very sweet that starting on Saturday each of you have been in Faiths' prayers and she has been wanting to write your names. It was like she suddenly realized that your family wasn't here with everyone else and she was really missing you. We all missed you but it looks like you had an awesome holiday and a very beautiful and elegant one. See you in a few weeks!
