Celebrating seven years...and forever.

Jonathan and I were able to sneak away for 24 hours and head to Park City last Friday. It was divine. {Thank you Aunt Alena for watching the kiddos!!!!} We ate very well, and I've decided I could eat eggs benedict for breakfast every day of my life...at least Good Thymes version of it.

We tried out this new hotel, Newpark Resorts, and stayed in a room way too big for the two of us. It was so much fun! Our favorite part was the private balcony with hot tub. We loved just getting away by ourselves, and being able to say more than two words without being interrupted. Of course, after 24 hours away from the kids, my arms were aching to get back home and hold them again!!Photobucket

On our actual anniversary, we took the kids with us to Temple Square. We ate at The Garden Restaurant. It had a beautiful view of the Salt Lake Temple.

We then showed Maddy the Empire Room where we had our wedding reception. She kept asking what everything looked like that night...where our cake was, who played the music and where Courtland was sitting. It's hard to imagine her cousin Courtland was her age at the time!

Maddy took the stage herself and put on a little performance of her own for us.

We then walked around the temple and reminisced...
This is what it's all about...The temple + our little family

Walking around the temple, I was overcome with gratitude for this wonderful man of mine...who makes me laugh, who whole-heartedly supports me, who openly shows his love and gratitude for me and who is an absolutely amazing partner to me and in raising our forever family.
These are the things that put a smile on my face each day.

Wonderful pictures and inspiring and touching words. Great way to share in your 7th. Also loved the pictures of the grandchildren together. What fun!
