Last but not Least of July 2010: Evan's Birthday!

We really enjoyed celebrating our special, sweet, cute, fun little man on his 2nd birthday!!

This is the story of his special day...
First, we went to the petting zoo at Gardner Village. He loved petting the animals...

...and being close to his buddies, Courtland...

and Bryant. That certainly made his birthday even more special to have his cousins with him!



The other thing that made his birthday special: a firetruck, ambulance, and police car coming to our house...just to make sure Daddy's delicious, smokin' burgers were being contained. (And, yes everyone was safe and the burgers were great...just a little smoky). It was a dream come true for Mr. Evan! Thanks Daddy!

Next, it was PARTY TIME! Evan has been obsessed with anything cars and trucks the last few months and LOVES Lightning McQueen and Mater. So we had a little Cars party with, of course, a pit stop of yummy foods...

...Daddy's yummy burgers, chicken with fireworks sauce, salad, fruit, corn on the cob, and fries with cheese sauce.

GAMES

First, the beanbag toss into the spare tire. Evan loved throwing the beanbags and waited patiently for his next turn.

Then, Red Light, Green Light.

Oh, it's so fun to run! Even if you're the last one.
