Evan started his first day of preschool last week.
He goes to a neighborhood preschool two days a week, and so far has loved it.
He got to bring the spy box and snack box home last week. The spybox is where he put lots of things of a certain color that he spied throughout the week. And what did Evan spy?
Lots of blue cars and mini excavators.
He is learning to sit for longer periods of time and getting used to a structured setting.
He's even been going in the potty!
I was able to go today and watch him do circle time. He is learning a lot. But he does like to follow the other boys in goofing off sometimes. It is hard for a 3-year-old boy to sit still for too long. It was sweet to see him turn around and smile at me when he was sitting quietly and listening. He is such a good boy at heart and wants to do what is right. When he did get out of line, it was pretty cute to hear him say,
"I'm sorry" and excuse himself to the stairs for a few minutes.
This has been another eye-opening experience for me at how different boys and girls are at this age.
This boy just loves to move, and who can blame him? Moving is fun.
He gets to go with his buddy and next-door neighbor, Tyler too.
It is always nice to have a friend with you.
Lining up for preschool...
It's so fun to watch you grow, Evan. You are one awesome kid!!!

What a fun experience to see Evan start to take in the "school" experience. They grow up so fast! Isn't it amazing to see what they do for other people outside home?!! I look forward to asking Evan more about it.
You are one awesome kid, Evan! Love you!!
Evan, the little man, can you and Lily grow a little slower. I feel like you both are so big! It feels like soon they will both be Ariel's age and I'm not ready for that!
