Evan turned the big FIVE on July 27th. He was sooo excited to have a Super Mario party with his buddies! We were so happy to have cousin Ariel there too.
We got a little carried away with the moustaches, but they were just too much fun. Madelyn helped me draw the BOO ghost faces on the white balloons. She did such a great job!
We played Mario Memory and Pin the Moustache on Mario. Jonathan drew an awesome Mario moustache-less face...how did we not get pictures of that?? It was cool. The kids were so cute - they each posed after making a match and wanted their picture taken. Hmm, these kids must never have their picture taken, right?
Stomping (or sitting or smashing) on the Goomba's...with chocolate coins inside!
Evan was so excited with his gifts! He got a MarioKart race car track from Brody and exclaimed that he would be Brody's friend forever!! I caught Ty asking Evan if he was now his friend forever too after opening his gift. We assured him, yes, he definitely will be.
And Iron Man from cousin Neal!
Evan requested Princess Peach and Rosalina to be on the cake beside a fire-shooting Mario. Grandma generously obliged...such a FUN cake!

Luke woke up just in time for a costume change into his favorite character...Luigi! And for cake!

So wonderful to hear more about the party and see the great pictures. It was awesome to have been a part of it. I though the mustaches were adorable and super fun! What a great time it was for everyone. :)
