Easter 2014

We had a great Easter doing fun things, but also trying to remember the reason we celebrate. This year we tried dying eggs with spices and natural juices from our juicer: beet juice, spinach juice, grape juice, turmeric, and blueberries. It was so cool to see all of the colors of our eggs! And Evan and Maddy loved helping me juice.

The next day we had our ward's Easter egg hunt at the park. The weather was great and the kids really enjoyed being with their friends.

Posing…Henry did not want to look at me:)

Waiting for the hunt to begin...

I love watching Henry discover all of the colored eggs and get so excited to find one for his basket.

Luke did a great job spying eggs too

Later, we had our hunt at our house with cousins. The kids loved discovering what Peter Cottontail brought for them.

The next day we dressed in our Sunday best and focused on our Savior and the great hope He has given us in knowing He LIVES!!

We finished our day with our traditional Resurrection Egg Hunt in finding symbols that remind us of Christ and His redeeming love for us all.

It was a wonderful weekend. Happy Easter!
