We celebrated his birthday with breakfast of his choice and a trip to the Disney Store. Luke was able to open the store that day with a huge key. The whole store lit up and music played as he walked the yellow brick road inside the store. He got his very own Disney key to keep. He was so excited!! Then we went to the aquarium and lunch of his choice.

Poor Daddy had to have seven stitches that morning on his eyelid from a hard elbow at basketball that morning. So glad it wasn't more serious!!

The next day we celebrated with family at the park. Luke loved playing with his siblings and cousins and eating his favorite foods (hotdog + chips) and opening gifts.

The weather was great until halfway through Luke's gift-opening and then you can see the wind picking up and the sky getting darker...

Eventually it just started pouring rain. And I mean pouring. It was crazy mayhem for about 10 minutes while we got kids, food, and all our belongings into our cars to head home.

Luckily Luke was a great sport. He finished opening gifts at and blowing out the candles on his ice cream cake at home. We also played a game of Sofia Slides before bedtime. It was a memorable night!

On Saturday we had a little party with all of Luke's friends.

He chose to have a Sofia the First party and dressed up as Prince James. Evan was one of the Prince's knights.

We played musical thrones, Sofia memory, and made Gingerbread castles. Luke loves the episode "King for a Day" where Prince James is well, King for a day. In the episode, all of the houses turn into gingerbread houses and the ponds of water become chocolate milk.

So we decorated the gingerbread "castles" and drank lots of chocolate milk too.

We love this cute group of friends!

Happy, Happy Birthday to my delightful Luke!!!
