It's the most wonderful time of the year!

I love conference weekend!!!!! Especially in October with everything changing colors and the colder weather where all I want to do is stay inside and snuggle and bake. Add in lots of family time and listening to our beloved prophet and church leaders and it's the perfect weekend!
After the morning session on Saturday we chose to go to the park and get out some energy. The kids loved playing tag and miss Jane enjoyed her first swing ride. I love how Evan (and all the kids) really love to be a part of all of her "firsts".  She is a lucky girl.
And the weather was gorgeous! Just look at those big clouds!
On Sunday we had our traditional hash brown quiche and orange rolls, with yummy fruit and our favorite wassail to drink.

The kids enjoyed filling out coloring sheets and making their own lego replicas of the speakers at the conference center.

They really played together nicely and tried to listen as much as their little minds could take in. I love the Spirit that fills our home as we allow truth to flow into it.

I loved hearing what impressed Madelyn most about the talks that were given and Evan too. As they are getting older I've noticed their reactions become more mature and thoughtful toward conference.

I believe their testimonies of our Savior, Jesus Christ are growing and it is miraculous to witness. I love my dear family. I love having Jonathan home too and together enjoying these beautiful moments with our beautiful family. Yes, "men are that they might have joy!"
