A Stroll...

(#302-Our First Home)

For our date night last week Jonathan and I decided to venture out to Provo to see first-hand the changes on campus and to reminisce about our humble, married beginnings. While there we:

  • bought several pieces of BYU attire
  • about died walking up Maeser Hill
  • walked through the gorgeous new buildings
  • and did it without running into construction zones or endless detours
  • felt old
  • realized that over half the student population we saw looked incredibly depressed
  • then realized it's Finals Week
It was fun to walk around and remember everything like it was just yesterday. But, it was also fun to go home to our HOUSE and two kids. We both agreed our time there will always be treasured, but luckily it's over! The Daily Universe's front-page story that day: "Looking to Life After College".....

Yeah, it's good.

And I'll never forget moving you out and cleaning all day, only to be told by the managers that my cleaning skills stink! Oh, the humiliation!
