Thank you for your prayers on behalf of my grandmother. Several prayers have already been answered. Last week we found out her colon was about to rupture, and we are so glad the doctors were able to take it all out in time during surgery.
From my mom:
We found out the lab results and it is not as bad as the doctors expected. Only four out of the 99 lymph nodes were affected. The tumor went through the bowel wall and so the treatment will include chemo and localized radiation. Overall the cancer is at a moderate level, rather than aggressive.
We continue to hope for positive news.
