We kicked off the festivities with the Barnyard Boo at Thanksgiving Point.
Papa and Grammy came too!
What more can you ask for??

On Friday night we got together with some good friends to carve our pumpkins.
It was a bit wild...5 girls + 1 boy = FUN and LOUD.
The ladies + our 3 baby boys watched as the men put their carving skills to good use.
In the end we have a Tinkerbell and "Jack the Pumpkin."
What fun. I think we will make it a tradition.
On Halloween Eve Morning we had delicious doughnuts with sprinkles and fresh apple cider from Farnsworth Farm.
It may not look like it, but this boy thoroughly enjoyed his chocolate doughnut.
And later, Aunt Alena and cousin Neal came over to eat our traditional chili and cornbread. We need something hearty before braving the cold and working our way around the neighborhood for all of that candy.
The kids then transformed into their characters...

Tinkerbell

Peter Pan
"Michael's Bear" (from Peter Pan)
and Superman!
They were anxious to get out there with the rest of them. It was freezing and raining, but our Tinkerbell and Peter Pan didn't seem too worried about it. They loved seeing their friends and going to each house. Evan liked climbing the steps all by himself and said a big HI to everyone he saw. By the end he was a pro at saying Trick-or-Treat and thank-you. He also loved testing out each family's Halloween decorations too. Ever the curious boy.
Madelyn was very polite too and braved the cold in her costume very well!
Unloading the candy and thawing off from the cold.
We also love it when our Stewart cousins drop by for a Halloween visit!
It is so fun to see their creative costumes each year...
And don't forget the Popcorn Balls and Wassail. Daddy made some super yummy, carmally popcorn balls...MMmmm.
Happy Halloween!

Your kids looked adorable. Way to go! Looks like you had an awesome Halloween too! I have to admit that Jonathan's popcorn balls turned out a lot better then mine this year. I'll take that as a challenge next year:)...hehehe.
Looks like you had fun! I LOVE the Peter pan theme!
