On Friday we went to Gigi's to do egg-dyeing and easter egg hunting. Evan especially loved the Spiderman stickers and Luke enjoyed exploring and coloring. Madelyn loves anything rainbow colors and so she was in heaven dyeing the eggs each in her own way. Aunt Debbie and Aunt Kayla hid the eggs and then the race was on. Even Luke loved finding all of the hidden, colorful eggs. He would stretch his whole body to get to them...very cute. And of course, when it was all over, Gigi and Great-Grandpa had several Easter baskets filled with goodies waiting for them. It was such a fun day!
On Saturday afternoon we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Starr's for the annual egg hunt. We got some of the classic stair pictures...the stairs were even fuller than they were 4 years ago! The kids waited and then Peter Cottontail came to the door. He sounded a little different this year...his voice has much less of a "twang" to it. Peter Cottontail reminded the kids to be good and to have a great Easter. Then the kids were off. Lukey knew just what to do and started waddling off with his basket to find the eggs. Madelyn and Evan loved having Ariel and Courtland there to help them find all of the little treasures. There were TONS of candy and treats and the kids also loved the plush animals they found. They had a blast being with their cousins and finding things together.
When we got back to Grammy and Papa's there were treasures there too!
The kids had plenty of Easter goodies and fun in Kansas!!!

What an amazing Easter you all had visiting family! I'm sure it will be a special one to remember always. I loved Evan's suit in the post after this one too--you always have the most wonderful Easter pictures.
