My Madelyn

It's hard to believe that this sweet little girl was born into our family 7 years ago last Thursday. I'll never forget that day -- the excitement and sweet Spirit that I felt right before her birth. It made such an impression on me how close the veil between heaven and earth is during these special times right before our little one was born. She looked into my eyes and I knew I had a great responsibility to teach her, to remind her of where she came from and who she is, and to love her unconditionally.

Madelyn is so easy to love and she has been the one teaching me so much. She has her moments of drama and attitude, but she is pure and precious and wants to do what is right.
She is a light in our lives and we are so very thankful for her!

Here are a few things about our Madelyn Mae at age 7:

She loves to go swimming and is a little fish in the water. Her favorite color is pink and her favorite foods are PIZZA and MACARONI & CHEESE.

Her favorite place to be is Disneyland and she loves the show Jake and the Neverland Pirates.

She wants to be a teacher when she grows up and is often organizing a pretend classroom of her own, one that is very organized and creative. :)

    

She loves to throw a ball or play peek-a-boo with Luke, play the game Life with Daddy, and Barbie Uno with Evan. She also loves to do crafts with Mommy, which she has a natural ability for and an eye for things of beauty.

She loves all things RAINBOW, and is very interested in dressing up, and wearing jewelry and make-up right now. But none of those things matter as Madelyn shines beauty from within. As the saying goes, "Happy girls are the prettiest girls!"And this sweet girl of mine is one happy, pretty girl.
