This year was probably my favorite Halloween ever! I loved our costume theme and loved having all four of our kids back in the Land of Oz to celebrate. The last time we had Halloween in Kansas was when our little Madelyn, or Cinderella that year, was two. It was so fun to be able to celebrate with so many extended family members again.
My Dorothy and Toto too
The Perfect Scarecrow
Mr. Tin Man
My Little Lion
We went to Boo at the Zoo later that afternoon and rode the train. Henry was not too sure, but it sure was fun holding my cuddly, little lion.
The kids enjoyed trick-or-treating around the zoo and playing games.
Later we went trick-or-treating around Grammy and Papa's neighborhood with cousins, Faith, Leia, Ariel, Courtland, and Aunt Chanda. It was so fun! I wish I had taken a picture of all of them together!
We had visited Jacob and Tonya's spooky house earlier that week and got to trick-or-treat at Adam and Chanda's house too.
Then we made the rounds to our grandparents. Grandma and Grandpa J were first! I loved sharing this special memory of my childhood with my own children.
Then we went to Gigi and Grandpa Neer's!
Evan was pretty thrilled with his huge candy apple!
And last we went to Grandma and Grandpa Starr's house. What a great day!!
Happy, Happy Halloween!
